Extract statistical results out of textual resources with JATSdecoder's function get.stats().
Note: Results within tables and graphics will not be extracted.
Select a document in xml, cermxml, pdf, docx, html, or htm format and get.stats() will extract all results within the text and output a table with detected standard test statistics (t, Z, F, Χ², U, G², H, Q, BF) and effect sizes (r, R², β, d, ƞ², ω², OR, RR) to enable a manual check on consistency and recomputability of reported p-values.
Note: By default, get-stats.app uses the open source software CERMINE to convert pdf to cermxml files. This may take some time (10 seconds - 1 minute). Please be patient after pdf file selection.

About get-stats.app
The function get.stats() is part of the R package JATSdecoder which was developed for my dissertation project about the evolution of methodological characteristics in psychological research and financed by a grant awarded by the Department of Research Methods and Statistics, Institute of Psychology, University Hamburg, Germany.
This service is built with RStudio and the shiny package.
